BACKGROUND –
Kings Mill Resort dates back to the original colonial times when the first English foot stepped into Virginia. Kings Mill’s vision is to restore this amazing Resort & Club to its status as the premier golf resort and vacation destination. They embarked on a 5-year plan to update & modernize the timeless aesthetics of the property starting with the renovation of the Fitness Center in the Sports Club facility.
The Challenge
The resort, with its centuries-old heritage and traditional aesthetic, faces a complex challenge in modernizing its facilities without compromising its historical charm. Striking the right balance between preserving the resort’s traditional elegance and integrating modern technological solutions is essential to maintaining its prestigious reputation.
The solution.
Kings Mill Resort called upon Thy Kingdom Come Productions to install two LED Video Walls during the renovation of their Fitness Center. The high-resolution displays added a dynamic, immersive element to the fitness space without detracting from the classic design of the resort. Members were captivated by the visually engaging environment, with the LED wall enhancing their workout experiences through live classes, interactive content, and scenic visuals that complemented the club’s historic ambiance. The video wall also became a versatile tool for communication, promoting events and club updates in a sleek, sophisticated way. As a result, the resort successfully modernized its fitness center while maintaining the charm that has been the cornerstone of its reputation for centuries, elevating both member satisfaction and the club’s prestige.
